The Regimental Museum is dedicated to preserving the history of the famed Royal Newfoundland Regiment since its inception to the present day. Though termed a 'Museum', it is a site of a Historical Collection and Archives of the Regiment.

This year (2018) the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Museum received the Award of Merit from the Museums Association for Newfoundland and Labrador for "Preserving Newfoundland and Labrador Heritage" and it is easy to see why. In only a couple of years under the guidance of Frank Gogos and with the able assistance of a number of willing volunteers.

The Royal Newfoundland Regiment museum is located in the main hall of 5CDSG Garrison St John's, located at 115 The Boulevard, St John's, on the shore of Quidi Vidi Lake in the East End How to access Visitors are welcome to enter the front gate (booth is unmanned) and park in the Building parking lot.
